Playground 1.22.09

Rob, Tom, Tom’s friend Luke visiting from Boston, and I headed out one last time with stable conditions to an area called the playground. It’s a really fun area with a series of chutes, pillows, cliffs and spiny-like ridges that is a blast to ski. A few flakes started to fall throughout the day, and now I would think that 3′ has fallen in the area since Thursday. Tough to say when conditions will once again be safe enough to go back there, but we’ll have to be content skiing deep powder at the ski area until then 😉
