TR: Favorite Fall Bike Ride
(Last Updated On: )
Let’s face it, the switch has flipped and it’s basically winter now in these parts. But, we still have a bit of catching up to do on our reports, like this one, from our favorite fall bike ride.
Frank and I rode it in late September, just when the trail was dry and the leaves were at their peak:
We moved fast, and it was a fun day!
Just a week later, I brought my friend and former student Jessica to ride the same loop. I have never ridden this loop with another female compatriot before, and it was especially fun being just the two of us.
The leaves were a little past prime, and the trails were a little wetter from snow earlier in the week. But, the loop was still in great shape.
Frank and I were fast the week before, but Jess and I were even faster. Plus one for the ladies 🙂
Riding single track is becoming more difficult and increasingly muddy here in Crested Butte – not to mention cold! It’s time to head to the desert for the riding… or is it time to strap on the skis? 😉

Ahh a favorite indeed! Thanks for not saying where. I appreciate that!
What, I didn’t mention the name, Frank? Oops. I must have forgotten;)
