Bring on the Spring Pow!
(Last Updated On: )
It was Thursday when the storm rolled in. It seemed relentless like the deep days of winter. Then it took a pause for awhile before beginning all over again. It was time to bring on the spring pow!
Mother Nature plays these tricks on us every year. Warm, sunny March days put everyone in the mood to ditch the planks for the bike. But, we know better than that. Every April she delivers at least one strong helping of fluffy white stuff for us ski fanatics to enjoy. This year would be no different.
With the better part of Crested Butte on spring break, it was easy to enjoy the resurgence of Winter. To be honest, we were quite gluttonous. However, there were far more hoots and hollers, smiles and laughs, rather than pics. We still did sneak out the camera a to capture a few shots the portray the moment. But some of them will remain photographs in the brain.
Nevertheless, here’s a few shots from our return to winter.
This sprinq-squally weather casts some wonderful light.

Then there’s the crossing of the rivers which always proves difficult in spring. Beaver dams help 🙂

The best place. I like the snow, very impressive for skiing. Awesome pictures too. Great!
