TR: Red Lady Glades (23 Jan 2011)

After Saturday’s storm, we woke up to bluebird skies. Not having ventured into the backcountry in a couple of weeks, Frank and I were feeling the itch. We convinced our visiting friends, Lauren and Mike, to join us. Avy danger was still considerable so we played it safe in Red Lady glades.

The summit views revealed icing on all the Elk fourteeners. Capitol and Snowmass.
