There’s always something special about opening day. Whether the resort opens a white-ribbon-of-death or a haven of powder, opening day is always enjoyable. There are smiles on everyone’s faces and excitement fills the air. Everyone is ready for a great ski season.
This year, CBMR opened with three lifts, several runs, and much powder. While we sought out the powder stashes, there was something unique in being able to carve into the beautiful corduroy, especially after all the backcountry skiing we’ve been able to access so far this season.
Early and abundant snow sent ski-season stoke levels through the roof. But, these three local kids get the stoke-award… camping out 5 days waiting for first chair. Kuddos to the kiddos!
This season is off to a great start. Let’s hope it keeps rolling that way 🙂
