CB Status Update 11 Dec 2010

Crested Butte ski area is skiing fairly well for early season. Today, the East River lift opened, providing fun terrain to play on. Coverage is descent, although there are still plenty of willows poking through.
Last weekend, Silver Queen lift opened.
Today, the famed “Twister” bump runs opened, accessible from the Silver Queen.
Paradise has been open since shortly after Thanksgiving.
Overall, the snow is good and coverage on open terrain is decent. Now, we just have to wait for Mother Nature to keep giving us enough snow to open the Extremes.
