Leaves are A-Changing (21 Sept 2013)

There’s no doubt about it. Fall has come late to these parts. We’ve been yearning for those sunny blue-sky and golden-leaf days of September. But, the rain has put a damper on that for now. Saturday, I finally got out for a nice fall hike, just in time to catch the beginning of the changing leaves. I did this same hike the year before, but a week prior, and the leaves were not as far along this year as they were last. Fall simply is a bit tardy this year. Ten days to two weeks tardy to be exact. But, it’s here. And I will enjoy as much of it as I can.
So here’s to the fall. It’s leaf season, after all!
