401 Good to Go!

(Last Updated On: June 10, 2012)

On Saturday we went for one last ride before I embark on my “volcano trip”- where I will venture to California to try to ski Shasta and Lassen and then on to Oregon to try for Mt. Hood and Adams, and where ever else the conditions will allow. For our ride, we decided to try for 401, which we’d heard had just recently become rideable as the standard loop. With only a few small patches of snow through the dense forest on the ascent, 401 is in good condition!

Views of the Elks from the top at over 11,000 feet.
