From the ski area, this face seems to beckon skiers every moment that it isn’t obscured by clouds. I skied the East Face four years back. We made the pics look good, but conditions were actually kind of horrible – Largely breakable crust. While skiing through the mid-section, I stuffed a tip into the crust and sprained my knee, making the experience worse. I’d been waiting for redemption ever since. Finally, the time had come.

With the fast-melting snow throughout the week, it was questionable whether the East Face was even still in. So, I checked it out the night before. Still looking alright!

Jarrett, Jenny, and Ben were game to join me in my claims for redemption.
