Fall has come late to these parts.  We&#8217;ve been yearning for those sunny blue-sky and golden-leaf days of September.  But, the rain has put a damper on that for now.  Saturday, I finally got out for a nice fall hike, just in time to catch the beginning of the changing leaves.  I did this <a href=\"https:\/\/14erskiers.com\/blog\/2012\/09\/tr-dyke-to-dark-canyon-loop-15-sept-2012\/\">same hike the year before<\/a>, but a week prior, and the leaves were not as far along this year as they were last.  Fall simply is a bit tardy this year.  Ten days to two weeks tardy to be exact. But, it&#8217;s here.
