On a recent ski of the Quill, I had noted a side couloir that my buddy Gary Hicks is pretty into, and it looked amazing- so that&#8217;s where Ben Furimsky and I headed.  It ended up being a beautiful line, one of my favorites in fact, so it ended up being a great day.  I&#8217;ve never heard it called anything, so to continue on the theme of that area, I&#8217;m just calling it the Ballpoint Pen for now.<\/p>\n<p>People rarely watch our videos, but I think this one&#8217;s pretty fun, despite all the jumpturns- the quick look uphill around 1:54 is of the Quill- and yes, it&#8217;s that steep.  Gets really skinny at 1:10.
