This is year three of this Crested Butte Lift Ticket Deals post, something I continue to write about because we receive so many inquiries. Crested Butte Mountain Resort is a great ski destination. We are well-known for our steep terrain – terrain unlike any other resort in Colorado and among the best in North America. But, we also have great groomed runs. The current owners have brought in special grooming techniques gained from the east coast. Take a run down International and you’ll feel like you belong with Lindsey Vonn in a World Cup downhill race. Furthermore, with few or no crowds except during a few select holiday weekends and Christmas, you’ll get a better bang for your buck skiing here in Crested Butte because you’ll spend less time in lift lines.<\/p>\n

A regular adult lift ticket at Crested Butte Mountain Resort this year is $111, but it goes up by $4 during Christmas week (12\/17\/16 – 1\/02\/17) and Spring Break (3\/11 – 3\/24\/17). This is high and not affordable for most people. Thankfully, there are many ways to get around this high price for skiing. Here’s a few deals that will help you fund your fun, and stretch your wallet a little more.<\/p>\n

1) Costco Lift Tickets<\/h3>\n

Crested Butte Costco Lift Ticket Deal<\/figcaption><\/figure>Front Range Costco stores are selling vouchers for two day tickets for Crested Butte for $99.99, the same price as last year. This is less than half price for one ticket! The one catch is that this voucher is good for only one ticket that is good for two out of three days. So, splitting this with a friend is not an option. Black-out dates include Christmas week, Feb. 18-19, Mar. 6-8, and Mar. 13-16. I recommend calling the Front Range Costco of your choice to ensure that they have these vouchers before going there to buy them.<\/p>\n

2) Two-for-One Voucher with Shell Gas<\/h3>\n


\nParticipating Shell Gas stations have these vouchers available if you purchase 10-gallons or more of gas. You must go inside the Shell gas station to obtain a voucher. However, this deal does not begin until January 4th! More details, including a list of participating Shell Gas stations, can be found on the Ski Free<\/a> website. This voucher is for two tickets that must be used on the same day, making it ideal if you travel with a friend. Black-out dates apply. <\/em>
