I&#8217;ve long been a proponent of hiking to <a href=\"https:\/\/14erskiers.com\/blog\/2014\/07\/wildflower-wonder-beckwith-pass-11-july-2015\/\" target=\"_blank\">Beckwith Pass<\/a> in the summer to view the wildflowers.  But, the next couple of miles on the Beckwith Bench offer possibly even better flowers and some great views.<\/p>\n<p>I began on the <a href=\"https:\/\/14erskiers.com\/blog\/2014\/07\/wildflower-wonder-beckwith-pass-11-july-2015\/\" target=\"_blank\">Cliff Creek trail<\/a> which greeted me with lots of wildflowers including these wild roses.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/14erskiers.com\/blog\/wp-content\/gallery\/beckwithbench_16july2015\/20150716_123808wildrose.jpg\" width=\"800\" height=\"768\" alt=\"Wild Roses on the Cliff Creek Trail. \" class=\"alignnone\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Views of Ruby, <a href=\"https:\/\/14erskiers.com\/blog\/2012\/10\/tr-mt-owen-sept-2012\/\" target=\"_blank\">Owen<\/a>, and Purple in the distance.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/14erskiers.com\/blog\/wp-content\/gallery\/beckwithbench_16july2015\/IMG_3142RubyAndOwen.jpg\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" alt=\"Ruby, Owen, and Purple seen from the Cliff Creek Trail. \" class=\"alignnone\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I reached Beckwith Pass quickly and the scenery along the way was quite nice. This season, I had some time to go beyond that.  After hiking for another 1.5 miles, I turned around.  The trail supposedly fizzles out, but I never got there.
