The skiing on Bonita Peak<\/a> that morning was so good, and the breeze was keeping the snow from getting too soft. So, we decided there was more skiing to be done that day. The west-facing lines on Hurricane Peak seemed like the next best choice!

We downclimbed a bit from the summit to find our way into the west-facing gullies of Hurricane. There, like Bonita, we had some pretty good skiing too! Natalia.

It was a good second ski for the day – great corn and fantastic views. This Ross Basin area is full of backcountry skiing potential and was a great way to end our 3-day jaunt in the San Juans!<\/p>\n
