However, I HAVE been hiking a lot.  I have really enjoyed slowing down for a bit, sniffing the flowers, and hiking new trails that I have been unable to travel on with my bike.  It&#8217;s been an excellent summer of exploration.  I can now say I know the mountains of Crested Butte better than I&#8217;ve ever known them.  <\/p>\n<p>Frank suggested that I put together a hiking guide as a compliment to his mountain biking guide.  So, I have begun to do so.  Some of you may have noticed it already, but the <a href=\"https:\/\/14erskiers.com\/blog\/crested-butte-hiking-guide\/\">hiking guide<\/a> is linked under the 14erskiers Pages at right. It has over 20 hikes- with descriptions, route info, links to trip reports and maps.  So, please check it out.
