Once upon a time there was a bachelorette who lived in CB-Land. However, as June approached, she knew her bachelorette days were numbered for she was to marry her beloved Frank Konsella. <\/p>\n

The bachelorette decided she needed to celebrate. There were so many things to celebrate- not only was she happy about her upcoming marriage, but she was also happy to have recently completed her 5 year goal of skiing all of Colorado’s fourteeners. But, sometimes the need to celebrate is actually an excuse to bring everyone together. And really, this was one of those times. The bachelorette called on her best backcountry babes and they all came. They arrived from near and far- from Hoodoo-land and Yuppie-land, from Suburb-land, and even all the way from Morman-land. Many of the backcountry babes didn’t know one another, but they all came anyway to join the bachelorette.<\/p>\n

The bachelorette was honored to have all of her best backcountry babes join her in adventure and celebration. Old friends, new friends, bike friends, ski friends, and best friends. They all came. Front: Jen. Back L to R: Brittany, Pam, Lauren, Kim, Ann, Sydney, and Sonya.

First, the backcountry babes and the bachelorette celebrated in downtown Diamondale. But no backcountry babe celebration is complete without adventure in the mountains. So, to Ann’s castle they went. <\/p>\n

As the backcountry babes arrived, there was the ceremonial gift-giving to the bachelorette.

And then the backcountry babes prepared a feast fit for the best of queens and they celebrated around the wood table.

There was cake and confetti, laughter and smiles- all things adorned by the bachelorette. The following morning the backcountry babes during the hour of the fairies- before dawn. They were heading to the Fairy-Land for a day of skiing. As twilight slipped to dawn, they began their skin up the mountain.

The backcountry babes trudged their way to the top.

And when they got there, they could enjoy all that the Fairy-Land had to offer.

Ant, Nipple, and Blob.

Afley, Purple, Owen, and Ruby.

And then it was time to ski. Sydney.

As we arrived near the bottom, the backcountry babes had a talk. Two babes were tired and wished to return to the castle. But, the other six backcountry babes weren’t done with their adventure in Fairy-Land yet. So, they headed up for another ski on another peak. The bachelorette took off ahead, and when she looked behind she was happy to see her backcountry babes joining her up on the mountain.

And before long, the backcountry babes reached their second summit of the day. Sonya, the biker-turned-skier, nearing the top.

And soon it was time to ski. Sydney.

The backcountry babes returned to the castle with smiles on their faces. Good friends, good times, and good skiing in the Fairy-Land. What more could a babe ask for? Sadly, the bachelorette and her babes had to part ways. It was time for each and everyone of them to return to their home land. Still, they agreed that the backcountry babes and the soon-former-bachelorette will must have a reunion. Only, maybe, the next time they will celebrate the joy of being among the company of the wonderful backcountry babes. \ud83d\ude42 <\/p>\n
