On Sunday, Frank and I were joined by our friend Zach for some skiing in the backcountry. It had been two weeks since I’d ventured into the Crested Butte backcountry. With a few recent storms, I was curious what the backcountry had to offer.<\/p>\n

High winds prevented us from venturing above treeline and made us re-evaluate our line choice.
