“Purple patch” refers to a period of excellent experiences, where nearly everything seems to go right and work properly. Purple Palace continued to serve us with patches of purple. <\/p>\n

The day started both sunny and snowing. Both excellent.

As we neared the top, the impending blizzard struck.

And our first turns, very excellent, were also largely blind.
