Yesterday’s after work ride (Photo Essay)

Here’s a few photos from yesterday’s quick after-work ride. I can’t believe I haven’t thought of riding this trail as an after-work ride before. Anyone care to guess which trail? We’ll send some stickers to the first correct answer, so let’s get some guesses. Between the slight smoke haze and the dryness of everything, things feel almost more fall-like than summer-like. Except for the temperatures, of course. The monsoons can’t come fast enough.

I don’t know what it’s called…Cloud City? Up and over long lake?
And the winner of the stickers is… Zach B. Zach, you’re going to have to come down here to get them, just because I want you to come down here. I might shuttle the CT from Buff Creek to Waterton next month, too- you should plan on that.
Cloud City is private property, so I stopped at the fence line and turned around. I’d never been down that trail, however, and it turns out to be a pretty fun downhill from there.
Sweet. I’ll be down within the next three weekends I think…
