More Early Season Searching 12.6.08

(Last Updated On: December 11, 2008)

We had been hearing reports that the Kebler pass area had done pretty well from the late November storms, so we decided to head out that way and check it out. Joining Brittany and I were Rob, recent arrival Zach, and Brittany’s friend Ben, visiting from Montrose. The snow stake at the base of the anthracites measured almost 3′, or a few times more than the CB ski area has. The skiing was pretty decent, but one more storm will really make things better.

Fingers are crossed for a big storm coming in all of next week. Hopefully this storm will get us back on track for a good season.
