Yeah, Matt, I was flipping through Roach’s book and he describes it as the most dangerous route in his 13ers book due to rockfall. Rocks do funnel through the route, but the rock seemed pretty solid compared to the San Juans or Elks. I’d call it a classic, one that I would do again in a heartbeat. I think that there are good lines on the SW and E sides too, accessing from Taylor Park- but those approaches are pretty big.

Another great line fellas. Interesting that Ice isn’t the death ski that many make it out to be. Maybe you guys just make it all easy?. Very strong work.

The mtns did look pretty decent after this last bit of moisture. I was camped by cottonwood lake with the wife over the weekend. Ill be back on June 14th for a fun little line I got to scope out if you care to join….(providing the weather cooperates)
