Very muddy and unpredictable. Beautiful and worth it though!! Bring ponchos! Have a great time :) The pictures were absolutely AMAZING! There will be some snow in late June, but I don't think you will have to snow camp or anything like that. Climbing the North couloir will probably be icy and technical by then, though. Have fun! A friend and I were hoping to backpack up to North Crestone or somewhere nearby the last weekend of June. Were these pics taken in May? I was thinking there wouldn't be quite so much snow this year. What's your opinion on getting up there (we don'twant to snow camp, and he is coming from the jungles of Cambodia!) Jim Thanks for the photos!
