Hi Chuck! Glad the blog has entertained you but sorry to hear about tearing your ACL. It certainly sucks! I'm sure you'll come back strong from it though! You're doing the best thing (and my most favorite thing) for rehab, by biking. I don't know where you live, but I ended up exploring all kinds of dirt roads around my area, and also drove to a few new places- just to escape the boredom of riding the same things all the time. I know the gym is boring too, but it's important to go to build back leg strength, and possibly hip/back/core strength. Anyway, good luck to you and I hope you have a good recovery :)

Hey Brittany, I changed gears back in March when I tore my ACL. :( It really is the July 4th weekend.
What in your opinion was the best activity for rehab during the dreadful summer months? Best and Favorite.
I'm 3 months out of surgery and trying to ride a bike like crazy. I hate the mind-numbing gym, biking can get boring at this stage of the rehab game, and still fearfull of the downhill hiking. Anyways it is always a treat to be entertained by these local BC blogs especially while I was unable to join in on the fun I'm used to.
