		<description>Really enjoyed both of your essays on this subject.  I have the exact same thoughts going through my head every day this time of year.  It also drives me nuts how many of my friends are stoked on driving 20 miles to ride 2 or 3 miles of muddy trail when we could be taking advantage of great alpine travel conditions.   Like frank said, biking is fun, but in the end you&#039;re just confined to a trail.  We got the next 4 months to break stuff on our bikes, might as well enjoy the peaks now.</description>
