I have to laugh though, as I get offers to "hike" often in summer, and feel naked if it's not involving other hardware. Can I at least strap some random sporting gear to my back so I feel like I'm on a normal mission? Or worst case, throw a bunch of huge rocks in a pack? Enjoy!
